This hose is extremely well built, so much nicer than the cheap white hoses of old. Looking at it, you would never believe it is a 50 foot hose, until you need 50 feet. The fittings are well made, not cheap pressed fittings, you find on a lot of other hoses.
We highly recommend this hose, and would not hesitate to buy another. This is the perfect opportunity to turn you old cheap white hoses into wash hoses, or black tank spray hoses, just remember what you used the for.

Very happy with my Ultimate RV Water Hose, it's my third. I use two for potable water and the third will be used exclusively for black tank flushes. The coiling makes it easy to store without taking up much room. I might add that the folks at Airstream Life have great customer service. Highly recommend the Ultimate RV Water Hose.

We received the hose recently but haven’t had time to use it yet. Early for us to starry camping. The hose appears to be high quality in construction and not the cheap vinyl hoses that cost $20. Hose connections are good quality. Not sure if plated brass or stainless steel

We have been through a few different hoses in the past year; some wearing out after a long time and some after only a few uses. We are so thrilled with these hoses! We opted for two 25-foot hoses, so we have flexibility wherever we are to hook up or fill our tanks. Even when we stretched them to their limits, they bounced back and coiled perfectly so they fit into their wonderful little bag!

I have two of these hoses because I run a water filter between them (water source > hose #1 > water filter > hose #2 > camper water inlet). They work great and store in a relatively compact fashion.

I personally, have not had a chance to use this hose. It is winter here in Oregon and not going camping any where. But it sure seem like a great hose and no more wrestling with a stiff water hose. I had looked at other like this but they did not say drinking water safe and the ends were not reinforced. So take a chance we did wish I could lie you know real time that is the only reason for 4 stars not 5.

I like all the features of this hose except it only has a 3/8 inside diameter which is not a high flow hose. So, filling a large fresh water tank is going to take about 1/3 longer to do than a 1/2 inside diameter hose. Half inch inside diameter is the size of the water feed pipes inside most campers so why not make these hoses 1/2 inch inside diameter?

What I like the most is that when the weather gets cooler water hose is harder to maneuver this one is just plug and play ,it always looks neat and when the time comes to put it away ... just disconnect back in the bag and all done .

We stretched it out, kinked it and compressed it and it came back without a scratch! We haven't been able to use it yet, but a plus for me, apart from the toughness, is the hose shouldn't drag on the ground and will be easier to keep clean.

Due to the fear of Covid, we probably won't be camping for at least another year; however, we went ahead and purchased this blue water hose (50ft) while it was in stock. We know it will be a wonderful investment because the water we drink and bathe with from it in our camper will be safe!!! We have already thrown out our old traditional white hoses and look forward to using this blue one when we are able to go camping again. We trust products sold by the Airstream Store!!!

While we like the easy storage we are not able to use it to fill our tank - it is just too slow. Might be okay if there is not a line at the campground dump station and you have plenty of time. Sorry, Rich, we have both of your books and several of your items but this product was disappointing.

Just used it this weekend. Wow it was so easy to use. I purchased two 25 ft hoses since a use a two stage Clearwater filter system. So easy to hook up. Very good quality fittings at end of hoses. Super easy to store away. No more kinks in my hose.

As advertised, the great advantages of this hose is that you don’t have to coil it up, all the while draining the water out of it. You can just unscrew both ends then screw the ends together so the water in the hose won’t leak out in the storage compartment, and from that point it is easy to handle. It’s very simple and quick. I first got the 25 foot hose, and was disappointed that when hooking it up over as little as a 10 foot distance it pulled on the trailer hose fitting with much more sideways force than I would tolerate. So, I bought the 50 foot one, and now have both. I can’t figure out why the purveyors call the 25 foot a 25 foot, and the 50 foot a 50 foot. The effective operating distances of each are much less. Perhaps if used in a tractor pull at a state fair they could be extended to the advertised lengths.

I purchased this hose because our existing white hose was getting low in the tooth and it has always been challenging to coil it to fit in the number storage area of our Airstream. We like that it will not leach chemicals into the water when sitting in the hot sun. The new blue hose recoils and easily fits into the rear bumper storage area.

A great hose and much smaller footprint than the bulky white RV hoses. I liked it so much I bought three of them. I use an extensive water filtration and water softener with my AS, and these hoses work and don't leak. I only wish they made a shorter version so I could hook up all my water stuff with at least one shorter hose. LOVE IT!

Some drawbacks
It’s a good looking hose but it’s designed to coil back on itself causing the following problems:
1- When filling up the fresh water tank, you have to stand there holding the hose even when using an easy fill adapter, else it will coil up on itself.
2- It takes the shortest route to the spigot; in full sun you can’t hide most of the hose under the Airstream to keep it cool.
3- Washing the truck, Airstream, dishes, you can’t let go of the hose else it will recoil on itself.
It created more problems than it solved.

Solves the "hose problem!"
I've been struggling with "forever kink" water hoses for four years and was at my wits end. Then I saw this hose in the Airstream Life store and thought: "what have I got to lose?" I've had it for a week now and can see that this is going to make hooking up to a water spigot or filling up the on-board freshwater tank a much easier and more pleasant experience. For now I'm keeping one of the old "forever kink" hoses in case I am ever at a campground and need a little extra reach but I may just end up buying a second one of these self coiling hoses and getting rid of all the old hoses.
I've seen self coiling hoses in hardware stores for years but this is the only one I've run across that is food grade (i.e., drinking water safe.) Also, it's a much higher quality product than the hoses you find in hardware stores.
Don't let the price hold you back. In the big picture this is a small price to pay for the ease and convenience.
