Are the sensors on your TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System starting to "drop out" occasionally? Are any of the sensors leaking air pressure?
If so, it's time to replace the batteries and seals on the sensors. You should plan to do this every year or two. It's a simple job.
Be sure to pick the correct kit, because the batteries are different. Older style sensors have 3 small screws on a rotating case, which requires a small screwdriver (the same type you might use to tighten the screws on your eyeglasses). Newer sensors (starting in 2018) don't have screws on the case.
This kit includes everything you'll need to refurb up to four TST sensors:
- rubber seals for the open end of the sensors
- O-rings for the inner seals
- Energizer batteries (4)
- spare screws
We provide extra screws and seals in case you accidentally lose a few while working on the sensors. Easy instructions are included with your TST Owner's Manual and in the images above.
