Returns & Refunds Policy

The Airstream Life Store gladly accepts returns for all merchandise purchased online or in our Tucson retail store – except books, magazine back issues, and key blanks.

Our team will process the return as long as the return is initiated within 30 days of the original purchase date, and received in the following condition:

  • Unused or unworn
  • In its original packaging
  • In NEW condition, and
  • In its COMPLETE form (i.e., not missing any pieces or parts)

For Swarovski binocular returns, the binoculars AND the prized-by-collectors product box and green box sleeve must be in new condition: no corner dents, marks, or stains. If the box does not meet this criteria, an additional $200 will be deducted from our standard return options. 

We offer two return options:

  1. Store credit in the amount of 100% of the purchase price
  2. Refund in the amount of 85% of the purchase price (15% restocking fee), back to the payment method used to purchase the item

We will issue the refund or store credit within 3-4 days of receiving the item back to our store, and confirming that it meets our return policy criteria.

Refunds can only be made to the method of payment used for the original purchase. 

To initiate the return: Send an email to help@airstreamlife.com with the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Order #
  3. Item you are returning
  4. Reason for the return
  5. Refund type (85% back to the original payment method or 100% store credit)
  6. Whether you would like us to generate a shipping label for you

Shipping charges for returned items are the customer’s responsibility and will not be refunded. If you are returning a large or heavy item, you can choose to have us send you a shipping label, because we can typically get a better shipping rate than if you were to contact carriers directly. As a courtesy, we can email you a shipping label to make return shipping easier. 

If you choose to use our shipping label, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund or store credit amount at the time it is processed.

Exchanges

Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges for returned merchandise. Please return the item you wish to exchange for a refund in accordance with our return policy, then place a new order for a replacement item.

Incorrect Item Received

If we shipped you the wrong item, we will replace it at no additional cost – as long as you contact us within 30 days of initial purchase, and the item meets our return criteria. Incorrect Item replacements outside of this 30 day window will be considered on a case to case basis.

The Incorrect Item must be returned:

  • Unused or unworn
  • In its original packaging
  • In NEW condition, and
  • In its COMPLETE form (i.e., is not missing any pieces or parts)

To initiate the return: Send an email to help@airstreamlife.com with the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Order number
  3. Item you received incorrectly

We will generate a shipping label at our expense, and send you an email link to download and print it. All you will need to do it drop it off at the specified carrier (USPS or FedEx).

Damaged Item

We can offer a refund or store credit on damaged items – as long you contact us within 30 days of initial purchase. Damaged Item replacements outside of this 30 day window will be considered on a case to case basis.

To initiate the return: Send an email to help@airstreamlife.com with the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Order number
  3. Name of damaged item
  4. Photos of the damaged item
  5. Photos of the damaged shipping box/envelope

In order to process a damaged item return, we require several photos showing the damage to the shipping box/envelope as well as the several photos showing the damage to the item. This photo documentation allows us to file a claim with the carrier.

After we receive the preceding information by email, we may contact you with additional questions. We’ll then generate a shipping label at our expense, and send you an email link to download and print it. All you will need to do it drop it off at the specified carrier (USPS or FedEx).

Gift Return

We do not offer refunds on items that you did not purchase yourself. But we do offer a 75% store credit, which can be used to purchase anything at the Airstream Life Store.

If you wish to return a gift purchased in our store, you may do so for up to 90 days from the date of original purchase – as long as the item is:

  • Unused or unworn
  • In its original packaging
  • In NEW condition, and
  • In its COMPLETE form (i.e., is not missing any pieces or parts)

To initiate the return of a gift: Send an email to help@airstreamlife.com with the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Item you are returning
  3. Reason for the return (Gift Return)
  4. Whether you would like us to generate a shipping label for you

We will issue a store credit in the amount of 75% of the gift's purchase price within 3-4 days of receiving the item back to our store, and confirming that it meets our return policy criteria.
